[2022-08-22] Séptima etapa: Grandas de Salime-Fonsagrada; Seventh stage: Grandas de Salime-Fonsagrada
Después de una última caminata alrededor de la Iglesia Parroquial (antigua colegiata) del Salvador de Grandas, del siglo XII, cuyo pórtico fue construido en el siglo XIX para cobijar peregrinos, partimos hacia A Fonsagrada. En este tramo dejamos Asturias..... para pasar a Galicia.
After a last walk around the Parish Church (former collegiate church) of Salvador de Grandas, from the 12th century, whose portico was built in the 19th century to shelter pilgrims, we set off towards A Fonsagrada. In this stage we leave Asturias...... to go to Galicia.

La etapa toma 24.7km con 900 metros en subida y 490 metros en bajada.

En los primeros 12 km hay un ascenso gradual que pasa por planicies, bosques, y también por el patio de propiedades privadas y alguna capilla, como la Capilla de la Esperanza de Malneira, que data del siglo XVIII.
In the first 12 km there is a gradual ascent that passes through plains, forests, and also through the courtyard of private properties and some chapels, such as the Chapel of Hope in Malneira, which dates from the 18th century.
Pasando Peñafuerte encontramos una novedosa marcación del Camino. Esta vez con piedras formando una flecha en el piso.
Passing Peñafuente, Asturias, we find a new type of waymarking of the Camino. This time with stones forming an arrow on the ground.
Pasando el Alto de Acebo a 1.100 metros de altura se cruza el límite entre Asturias y Galicia marcado con piedras en el camino. A la izquierda está Asturias y a,la derecha Galicia!

Apenas pasamos el límite comenzamos una gran bajada hacia A Fonsagrada pasando por colinas y lugares muy pintorescos.
As soon as we passed the limit we began a long descent towards A Fonsagrada passing through hills and very picturesque places.
Llegamos a A Fonsagrada, una ciudad de 5.007 habitantes (en 2004) con tiempo para hacer unas compras. Entramos a una farmacia que mantenía las estanterias y frascos usados en sus comienzos. Muy linda!
We arrived at A Fonsagrada, a city of 5,007 inhabitants (in 2004) with time to do some shopping. We entered a pharmacy that kept the shelves and bottles used in its beginnings. Very cute!
Ya instalados, nos preparamos para descansar y planear la etapa siguiente.
